HomeForge Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the HomeForge Android app (package ai.forgeyourlife.homeforge) and its related ForgeOS support pages. HomeForge is a home-planning and routine app. It does not provide uncontrolled smart-home automation.
Information HomeForge processes
HomeForge can process only the information that you choose to enter or connect for the feature you use, such as routine names, checklist items, room and device labels, household-planning notes, optional connector status, and confirmation history. The current test version does not require access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, precise location, microphone, camera, or files.
Smart-home and family safety
HomeForge is designed to keep sensitive actions gated. Before any future device connector can be used, it must be scoped to a trusted hub, room and device, and the user must be able to review the requested action. Locks, alarms, cameras, ovens, heating and other sensitive or safety-related devices require explicit confirmation. The current test build does not send automatic device commands.
Why the information is used
We use this information to show your chosen routines and home-planning state, provide requested support, maintain service security, prevent misuse, and improve the app through voluntary test feedback. We do not sell HomeForge personal data, use it for advertising profiles, or require public reviews in exchange for access.
Sharing and service providers
Data is not shared with unrelated third parties. If you later choose to connect a supported smart-home service, information needed for that connection may be exchanged with that service under its own terms. ForgeOS uses Cloudflare for hosting and security. Google Play processes app distribution and any Play-managed purchase data under Google’s policies.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, secure the system, address support requests, or meet legal obligations. You can ask for access, correction, export, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by contacting support. A request to delete a ForgeOS account is available at the link above; some de-identified security, accounting, or test-integrity records may need to be retained where required.
